Identity Themes

Here's a summary of some of the themes Michael and I discussed regarding concepts, mood, look and feel and direction of the identity. All of these ideas will be supported here with images as I pull them together.

Concept
SonarPilot guides the listener through changing landscapes of sound. These "coarse" landscapes could be equated to sky, earth and water, which in themselves can contain a multiplicity of "fine" landscapes.

The sky, earth and water metaphors work very well using SonarPilot's imagery which have a close relationship to changing musical structures, layering and "color" of the music as well as horizon lines which can rpresent changes in the musical landscape.

(new!) Sonarpilot can be represented by the compass (guide), the listeners can assume various pilot roles (astronaut, diver, pilot) on their musical journeys.

Identity
The graphic elements of the identity should be created with the following visual guideposts:

• 60's airline graphics (clean, stylized, ultrafast, globally encompassing, sweeping, tapering)
• Russian cosmonaut graphics and propoganda (bold, graphic, handmade look)
