very simple and efficient, based on strong visuals.
they use soundcloud to stream the music. soundcloud offers a bunch of small apps to embed in one's site, so i guess we could get something similar up and running pretty quickly - start with a simple site, just a few main key visuals. most of them stand for track, if you click on the you get a full screen view of the picture, maybe with a small animation or a stream of pictures of the same kind. we have plenty of clouds, water, skylines, shadows etc. - i like the idea of using these series. it is a great translation of the serial structure of the music. each time you visit the site the order of the pictures on the splash page could change too.
i also like how fast and easy the site works, no long loading times. plus you get very quick initial info when you move the mouse over each picture, so it's at the same time very visual and highly efficient/informative.
